Job Overview
Our company is seeking an experienced construction Project Manager who is responsible for overseeing several different types of construction projects. They would be responsible for leading the project from initiation to completion. They would be expected to be knowledgeable about regulations, permits and project management methodology. They should be able to work well with others, be highly organized and detail-oriented and meet deadlines as well as strive to stay within budget. They should have strong communication skills, computer skills and be able to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Define the project scope
- Review and interpret project plans
- Create a construction estimate based on a material takeoff
- Create and manage a construction project budget
- Creating a construction project management plan
- Negotiate with General Contractors and subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts
- Develop a construction schedule
- Keep inventory of tools, equipment and machinery at project sites
- Manage resources such as construction materials, workers and equipment
- Allocate and manage resource logistics
- Create status reports
- Oversee the performance of the construction team
- Obtain permits, licenses and meet code regulations
- Maintain health and safety standards

Education & Training
The ideal candidate shall have a Bachelor's Degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or related field. The candidate should also have a strong knowledge of construction management and should possess knowledge of current rules and regulations related to construction management and shall possess knowledge of current rules and regulations related to construction.
Work Experience
The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction industry where construction management skills, maintaining budgets and schedules were applied. The ideal candidate must have prior experience managing construction sites and experience leading a construction crew.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
