We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager with a specialty in Healthcare Construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, with a particular focus on hospital construction, cancer centers, and renovations. This role requires a deep understanding of OSHPD regulations and a passion for creating healthcare environments that promote healing and comfort. If you have a talent for leading teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Project Manager-Healthcare Construction, you will be expected to

• Oversee all aspects of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects.
• Manage the design and construction of healthcare facilities, including hospitals and cancer centers.
• Ensure all projects are compliant with OSHPD regulations and other relevant healthcare construction standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all project activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing healthcare construction projects, with a focus on hospital construction, cancer centers, and renovations.
• Proven experience in working with OSHPD regulations.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various project stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve project issues effectively.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
