Job Summary: The Strategy and Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Chief of Staff and senior leadership team by providing data-driven insights, analysis, and recommendations to shape the organization’s strategic direction. This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the creation of detailed strategic reports and presentations. The Strategy and Planning Manager will contribute to decision-making by analyzing market data, financials, and internal performance metrics to help drive business growth and efficiency.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Strategic Initiative Analysis:
1. Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and executive leadership to track, assess, and report on the progress of strategic initiatives.
2. Provide regular insights and analysis on the effectiveness and ROI of ongoing projects.
3. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support decision-making for future initiatives.
Market and Competitive Research:
1. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform long-term strategic planning.
2. Identify emerging market opportunities or potential risks for the organization.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
1. Analyze internal performance data (financials, operations, sales, etc.) to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
2. Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards that effectively communicate findings to executive leadership.
Performance Monitoring:
1. Support the creation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives and departments.
2. Ensure that performance data aligns with strategic goals and objectives.
Presentation Preparation:
1. Prepare and deliver presentations to the executive team, summarizing the findings and offering actionable recommendations.
2. Assist in the preparation of materials for Board meetings or other high-level strategic discussions.
Strategic Planning Support:
1. Assist in the development and refinement of long-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment across departments.
2. Help prioritize strategic initiatives based on data analysis and organizational goals.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Work closely with other departments (e.g. operations, finance, marketing) to gather data, share insights, and ensure cross-functional alignment of strategy.
2. Act as a liaison to ensure that strategic initiatives are communicated effectively across the organization.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in strategy, planning, business analysis, or related fields.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
