Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, develop reports, and assist with process improvements while work closely with stakeholders. This role involves providing support and training for NetSuite and assisting in the testing of system updates and enhancements. Serves as the first point of contact between an end user and the company by reviewing, monitoring and escalating service desk requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement or system enhancement.
- Create clear and concise project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Assist in the testing and validation of systems, ensuring they meet the agreed-upon requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations related to projects.
- Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support and escalate appropriately.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in business analysis or similar role.
- Knowledge of project management principles and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to train and guide other team members on business processes and systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
