Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for members, patients, or referrals, providing information about services and intake procedures.
- Collect and review necessary documentation, including medical records, insurance verification, and consent forms.
- Accurately enter and maintain member information in databases and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate and schedule initial appointments, assessments, or consultations.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist members with financial paperwork when necessary.
- Communicate with internal teams, such as case managers, healthcare providers, nurses, or administrative staff, to ensure a seamless transition of services.
- Monitor and follow up on pending applications, referrals, and necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, confidentiality regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to members, addressing concerns and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative, healthcare, or customer service role, particularly in an intake or admissions setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EHR systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, or case management is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
