Job Description
The Vice President of Finance will oversee Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with a focus on financial budgeting, forecasting, company-wide and market monthly financial P&L’s, functional KPI’s, department dashboards and scorecards, and monthly operating review support. The VP will also support the COO and department leadership with standardized daily/weekly/monthly reports and ad hoc financial analysis to drive informed decision-making. This role will partner with and take direction from executive leadership with a dual-reporting relationship to the CFO.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial planning and analysis that support informed fact-based decision making for the company, market and department leadership
- Lead financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, project ROI analysis, and scenario planning to drive sustainable growth
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track department and company business performance
- Develop company and market functional dashboards integrating financial, operational and clinical KPI’s into standardized reports uploaded to the shared drive monthly
- Create a Daily Flash reporting on key company data and P&L’s comparing actual line-item performance to MTD and YTD budget and prior year results
- Analyze financial trends, business drivers, and operational data to optimize profitability; conduct variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities for financial improvement
- Optimize financial processes, reporting, and controls to improve efficiency
- Ensure accurate and timely standardized financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Support pricing strategy, reimbursement models, and contract negotiations
- Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality service delivery
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks
- Oversee internal controls and financial audits as needed
Salary range is commensurate with experience and qualifications $120,000-$175,000
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, telehealth, or multi-site services
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis
- Experience managing FP&A functions, operational finance, and strategic financial initiatives
- Proficiency in financial systems, data analytics, and reporting tools
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment and drive process improvements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
