Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring and retaining clients, and building strategic partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Strategic Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for expansion.
- Analyze competitor strategies and develop actionable insights for strategic planning.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients, focusing on key industry segments.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution
- Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Networking & Brand Enhancement
- Attend industry events and build professional networks.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company’s brand presence.
- Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify and establish partnerships with complementary businesses.
- Negotiate terms and manage relationships to maximize value.
- Project Management & Coordination
- Oversee the initiation and execution of business development projects.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Present findings and recommendations to the CEO and senior management.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or a related field within the restoration, construction, or insurance industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the restoration and insurance industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
