Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in canvas sewing and the ability to fabricate and sew various types of materials. Duties
- Operate sewing machines to assemble canvas goods and other fabric-based products according to specifications.
- Fabricate components by cutting, sewing, and finishing materials as required.
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards through careful inspection and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot minor sewing machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in either upholstery or canvas sewing with a strong understanding of sewing techniques.
- Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
- Ability to work effectively in a shop setting, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
