What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Management Internship position at All Community Events?
Be part of the All Community Events team working on events across the nation for over 100,000 participants annually! Join us managing 5K/10K run/walks, half marathons, marathons, client charity events, pumpkin shows and holiday light shows. If you eat, sleep and breathe logistics, problem-solving and coordination combined with the fast pace get stuff done nature of event day then this is the place for you.
The All Community Events internship is designed to introduce students to all aspects of managing events. Throughout their time here, interns will assist with:
- Logistical Planning
- Community Outreach
- Client Charity Support
- Marketing
- Customer Service
- Contractor Booking
- And much more
Interns will also get to frequently travel to our events around the country and be a part of our event day operations. Interns will be given real responsibility as an integral part of our event day team.
Available Internships:
- Spring 2025
- Start asap - end May 2025
Great things to know:
- This internship is located at our office in Lake Zurich, IL. No remote option.
- This internship can work for college credit.
- Weekday office work is unpaid. Weekend event work is paid.
- There is a possibility for high-performing interns to get hired full-time.
Qualifications:
- This position requires the ability to use a computer for an extended period of time.
- This position requires the ability to stand on your feet for an extended period of time.
- This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly over an extended period of time.
- This position requires frequent weekend availability as our events do happen on the weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Positive and professional attitude in the workplace.
