Opportunity Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Independent Project Manager to support specific restoration and emergency response projects in the San Diego area. This is a temporary, project-based independent contractor engagement, and the selected contractor will perform services under a contractor agreement, using their own tools, equipment, and methods to complete assigned scopes.
Scope of Services May Include:
- Independently manage the progress and performance of specific restoration or emergency projects
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and third-party vendors as needed
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and estimates independently
- Maintain communications with property owners, insurance adjusters, and All County’s designated point of contact
- Provide written documentation, reports, and photos related to project milestones or challenges
- Follow applicable safety and building standards as required by local jurisdictions
- Respond to project requests in a timely and professional manner
- Invoice All County for services rendered in accordance with agreed-upon term
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in restoration construction and emergency services
- Operates as an established business entity or sole proprietor providing similar services to multiple clients
- Maintains own business tools, vehicle, phone, and technology required to perform the work
- Strong working knowledge of the restoration industry, including insurance processes, remediation, and reconstruction
- Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Xactimate, DASH)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Must be able to provide a W-9, and hold any applicable licenses or certifications (e.g., CSLB license, IICRC certifications)
Compensation:
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Contractor will be compensated based on agreed-upon project rates or flat fees, with no taxes withheld. Contractor is responsible for their own business expenses, insurance, and tax obligations.
