Description
All Energy Solar is seeking a full-time Operations Technician in our Madison warehouse. This position will be responsible for kitting and receiving materials, inventory management, some administrative tasks when needed and various other duties.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Kitting and receiving of all materials.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Keeping a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Delivering materials to the job site (as needed).
- Performing minor service work on solar/energy systems.
- This position requires periodic installation support/work and assists with Solar installation as necessary.
Skills/Qualifications
- Superior organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must complete and clear an MVR (motor vehicle) background screen.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to utilize and be comfortable driving a company vehicle for work-related purposes.
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and lifting (frequent).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent).
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. at a time (frequent).
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute (frequent).
- Willing to occasionally work extended hours in extreme environments/climate (cold, heat, wind, etc).
- Must be able to transport and drive at times/as necessary for short and long distances for work related events/job sites and be able to travel with crew for occasional overnight, or multiple night, trips within our service area (MN, WI, IA, SD, ND, NE)
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a full-time non-exempt hourly (over time eligible) position with an expected base rate $19.00 - $20.00 hourly (Depending on Qualifications & Experience).
- Onsite In-Person: This position is in-office at AES Madison, WI location/facility.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Profit sharing bonus based on company performance.
- PTO accrual of up to 80 hours annually with an additional 40 hours after year 1.
