Who We’re Looking For
Experienced Leader:
✔ 4 years of experience in low voltage/network cabling.
✔ Skilled in structured cabling for Wi-Fi, fire alarms, cameras, access control, and telecom.
✔ Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Problem-Solver & Decision-Maker:
✔ Can assess technical issues quickly and provide innovative solutions.
✔ Able to manage project timelines and allocate resources efficiently.
Team Leader & Trainer:
✔ Comfortable leading a team, providing guidance, and ensuring quality work.
✔ Able to train and mentor junior technicians in installation best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee cabling installations from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Infrastructure Specialist: Install, test, and maintain structured cabling systems for Wi-Fi, fire alarms, security, access control, and telecom.
Cable Management Expert: Organize and maintain cable pathways, racks, and terminations for optimal performance.
Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction with work completed.
Team Supervision: Lead a team of technicians, assigning tasks, checking quality, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Technical Expertise: Work with CAT5, CAT6, fiber optic, and coaxial cables, ensuring proper terminations and performance.
Compliance & Safety: Follow NEC codes, industry standards, and company policies to ensure job site safety.
Requirements
✔ Driver’s License: A valid license is required. Depending on the project, you may receive a company vehicle or compensation for using your own.
✔ Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in different environments.
✔ Certifications (Preferred): BICSI, OSHA 30, or other low-voltage industry certifications.
✔ Travel: Some projects require regional travel (Southeast). Lodging & per diem are provided for out-of-town work.
