Required:
1. Master’s Degree in the social services field.
2. Must possess one of the following licenses: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT or any other independent practitioner status and current license accepted by the State of New Mexico for the provision of counseling or therapy and the supervision of counselors or clinical social workers.
3. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in human services and experience working with adult populations including SUD, SED/SMI and Veterans.
4. Minimum of five (5) year experience in clinical supervision or two (2) years’ experience as a Clinical Supervisor at All Faiths.
What will I do as the Director of Clinical Services with All Faith’s?
The Director provides operational oversight to program supervisors and is jointly responsible for the development, management and clinical integrity of all client access and engagement, client navigation, clinical assessment, intake and care coordination programs and functions. The Director works closely with the Executive Director of client access and engagement, other clinical and supervisory staff, as well as clients and the community to help inform and address needs, make recommendations, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives for client access and engagement services. The Director manages the reporting requirements for the client intake/assessment/client engagement programs in collaboration with other Directors, Executive Directors, CQI, and allied departments.

At All Faith’s Children’s Advocacy Center, we work in a variety of mediums for the treatment of families, children and their caregivers who are struggling due to issues of divorce, homelessness, child abuse/neglect, family violence or other crises.
The Children’s Safehouse provides age-appropriate, legally defensible forensic interviews for children 2-18 years of age and developmentally disabled adults who have been the alleged victim of sexual or physical abuse, or who have witnessed a violent crime. Family advocates work closely with the alleged victim’s guardian to ensure that they are provided resources and follow-up care, such as medical attention, and therapy.
All Faiths Adoption Services works to help children find permanent, loving, and safe homes within a family. We work with birth families to provide comprehensive pregnancy options counseling and with prospective adoptive families for adoptions within New Mexico and between states.
The New Mexico FIESTA Project focuses on creating a support system for adoptive families through networking events, trainings, and connections to resources.
The Home Study Program contracts with the New Mexico Children, Youth & Families Department (CYFD) to provide detailed assessments and recommendations for licensure for both prospective foster families and CYFD adoptive families throughout the state of New Mexico.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities preferred to perform:
1. Experience and skills in the following areas:
- a. working with hard to hard-to-reach or resistant individuals and families across the lifespan
- b. collaborating with other disciplines and services
- c. awareness of, and sensitivity to, cultural and socio-economic characteristics of individuals and families; and
- d. Supporting program management and development.
2. Counseling and theories of intervention that include:
- a. psychosocial functioning;
- b. assessment skills and intervention strategies;
- c. mobilizing individual and/or family strengths; and
- d. the role of social, economic, and environmental factors in the development and resolution of personal and family problems.
3. Awareness and commitment to a best practice model that includes:
- a. providing interventions in a manner that demonstrates respect for sociocultural values, personal goals, lifestyle choices, and complex family interactions; and
- b. psychosocial and ecological or person-in-environment perspectives.
- c. laws regarding mandated reporting of suspected abuse and neglect;
- d. boundaries and appropriate responsibilities of All Faiths programs and the child and/or adult protective authorities; and
- e. issues and responsibilities related to the “duty-to-report.”
4. Competence in a variety of clinical areas including:
- a. methods of engagement;
- b. methods of crisis prevention and intervention;
- c. identification of medical needs or problems;
- d. the organization’s plans for dealing with medical or psychiatric emergencies;
- e. knowledge of public assistance programs, eligibility requirements, and benefits;
- f. skills in case advocacy;
- g. use of community resources and knowledge of community service delivery systems; and
- h. specific skills necessary to serve outlined target populations.
5. Ability to provide training and consultation regarding the following activities:
- a. lead discussions, conceptualize well, and communicate effectively;
- b. advocate for clients served within the larger community and other macro systems;
- c. mobilize and educate clients about formal and informal resources to support clients;
- d. skills in teaching and program design; and
- e. knowledge of substance use disorders (SUD), veteran services, and group dynamics.
6. Effective inter-disciplinary working.
7. Supervisory skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Computer literacy.
10. Valid Driver’s License.
11. Ability to drive for work-related tasks as requested by supervisor.
