Description
PSR Specialist, serve children and adults diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness. As a PSR Specialist you are required to prepare and execute group and individual interventions to assist clients in restoring a functional deficit in the areas of independent, social, and vocational skills. Help clients adjust to their social environment. May work with individual and group counseling and help with job training, housing needs, and family support issues. PSR assess client's current conditions and level of social functionality. Develop a treatment plan to help client learn skill sets needed for independent living, as well as maintain daily living skills. PSR monitors client progress and help to achieve their social integration goals. Manage client records to ensure proper clinical documentation are maintained and meets Medicaid standards. Education: A Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with major in counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field.
Experience: One-year experience providing psychosocial services in prepare and execute group and individual interventions to assist clients in restoring a functional deficit in the areas of independent, social, and vocational skills.
Responsibilities: Facilitates individual therapy sessions for children and adults. May work with individual and group counseling and help with job training, housing needs, and family support issues.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
