Job Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals with developmental disabilities and other behavioral challenges. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide training and support to staff and families. This position requires a strong commitment to improving the lives of clients through evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine the needs of clients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
- Collect and analyze research data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring adherence to best practices in behavioral health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Train and supervise staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on current research and trends in the field of behavior analysis.
Ability to develop individualized strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.
Developing meaningful, evidence-based programming tailored to the client's needs, driven by ongoing data, progress, and assessments.
- Providing both direct and indirect training and supervision for RBTs on the patient caseload.
- Offering ongoing family guidance to ensure successful programming outcomes.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the entire treatment team.
- Collaborating with external service providers when necessary.
- Regularly reviewing data and updating team members as required.
- Adhering to professional boundaries set by the BACB.
- Conducting comprehensive initial intakes and periodic assessments.
- Managing discharge and transition planning for children in your care.
Qualifications: What We’re Looking For:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or scheduled to sit for the BCBA exam within one month.
- LBA certification (if applicable).
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges using ABA methods.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Capable of bending, squatting, and performing activities requiring fine and gross motor skills for up to an hour a day.
- Comfortably sitting on the floor, in a chair, or standing for extended periods.
This position is essential for fostering positive behavioral changes in clients while promoting their overall well-being through dedicated support and expertise in behavior analysis.

Pay: $83,776.00 - $100,000.00 per year
