Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial glass projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction project management, a deep understanding of the glass and glazing industry, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of commercial glass projects, ensuring they are finished on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project operations. Provide direction and leadership to the project team.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure milestones are met.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company specifications. Perform site visits to monitor quality and resolve any issues.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve any issues that arise during the project, including delays, material shortages, or design changes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, preferably in the commercial glass industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with glass, glazing, blueprint reading and architectural systems; proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and contractors.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
