Our client seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal for a permanent job position in West Tampa. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and procedures. This position is a hybrid/remote position with a WFH schedule of 2 days per week after initial office training on the firms policies and procedures. The firm works a 37.5 hour work week and firm pays 100% of medical and dental insurance as well as full complement of other benefits.
Duties
- Draft and review legal documents, including subpoenas, contracts and pleadings.
- Summarize medical records; create medical chronologies
- Assist in the management of legal cases through effective project management techniques.
- Review documents for relevance and compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Maintain organized files and documentation within the law office to ensure easy access to information.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law office setting.
- Familiarity with legal case management software and document review processes.
- Strong understanding of litigation is required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal drafting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
