IT Deskside Technician

Job Summary: All Lines Technology is seeking an experienced Deskside Technician to join our team in West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals by directly interacting with the equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components through hands-on work.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment, including physical repairs and upgrades.
• Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software, including physical installation and configuration.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex technical issues.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of IT equipment and software.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, providing deskside support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise-level applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
