What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child And Family Therapist position at All of You Therapy, LLC?
You Bring the Depth. We Bring the Families Who Are Ready for It.
Location: Center City, Philadelphia (in-person sessions required)
Job Type: Full-time, with evening and/or weekend availability
Compensation: $70 /hour for pre-licensed, $80 /hr for licensed therapists
Requirements: Licensed therapist (PsyD, PhD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or post-Master’s clinician with advanced training and experience in attachment-focused therapy with children, teens, and families
You became a child and family therapist because you believe in the healing power of relationships.
But you’ve found yourself working in systems that favor quick fixes over curiosity.
You’ve seen children labeled as “difficult” when they’re really dysregulated, unseen, or carrying pain that’s too big for their bodies.
You’ve longed to work in a place where you can track protest behavior, attachment ruptures, and neurobiological shifts—not just symptoms.
You’re not asking for too much.
You’re just ready to practice in a place that aligns with your depth.
Let’s make that happen.
We built All of You Therapy to be the kind of practice we wished for in our early careers—a place where relationship is the method, not just the backdrop.
We specialize in trauma and attachment, with clinicians working across the lifespan using deeply relational, experiential, and neurobiologically grounded approaches.
Our work draws from Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, and other bottom-up, integrative models that honor the full complexity of the family system.
Here, children’s behaviors are seen as communication. Parents are supported, not blamed. And therapy is a process of rediscovering safety, connection, and possibility—together.
✅ A caseload of families who want more than a band-aid.
You’ll work with clients who are navigating real challenges—sensory overwhelm, shutdowns, explosions, disconnection—and who are seeking support that actually gets to the root. Some parents may come in hoping for a “fix,” but our ideal therapist meets them there with compassion, then gently expands their understanding of what healing can look like.
✅ Therapy that honors the body, the story, and the relationship.
We don’t do surface-level sessions. We track nervous system shifts, attachment cues, and protective strategies—using somatic tools, play, art, and narrative work to help children and families access healing in ways words alone can’t reach.
✅ Consultation that deepens your clinical mind.
Our case consults are rich, layered, and collaborative. We talk about parts. We explore legacy burdens. We ask big questions and sit with complexity—because there’s no manual for the work we do.
✅ A fully stocked therapy space.
Therapists have access to art materials, sensory tools, sand tray miniatures, books, puppets, and other resources—so you’re not improvising or buying things out-of-pocket just to do good work.
✅ Ongoing investment in your development.
We take clinical growth seriously. Expect robust supervision, advanced trainings, and leadership that is genuinely invested in helping you sharpen your instincts and expand your capacity.
✨ You’re not intimidated when a parent says “I just want my kid to stop….” You know how to listen deeply, empathize fully, and reframe with care.
✨ You can hold systemic complexity: the child’s nervous system, the parent’s survival adaptations, intergenerational trauma, and the impact of neurodivergence—all without defaulting to a single narrative.
✨ You’re trained (or actively training) in models like child-centered play therapy, Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), EMDR, IFS, Circle of Security, or Somatic Experiencing, and you trust the body as much as the mind.
✨ You know that behavior is communication. That aggression can be protest. That control can be protection.
✨ You’ve done your own therapy—and it shows in the way you hold space.
✨ You want to be part of a team that’s as devoted to integrity, depth, and curiosity as you are.
