Trans Lease is looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team that will bring an analytical approach to problem solving with them. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a fundamental knowledge of commercial underwriting - specifically as it pertains to the equipment finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate your recommendations to staff across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Analyze credit and financial data of persons and / or companies applying for credit.Determine risk and present formal recommendations to management.Work closely with Sales to manage customer relationships.Review commercial credit packages that include financial statements, loan performance reports, and public record research.Review consumer qualification reports, such as credit bureaus, personal financial statements, and Know Your Customer research.Develop industry and equipment knowledge to be used during credit analysis.Monitor workflow processes and deliver efficient turnaround times.Review and request pricing from various funding sources, maximizing profitability while managing availability.Compile and submit funding packages to the assigned funding source, managing line of credit availability while minimizing interest expense.Frequently monitor financial statement updates for large customers to ensure continued financial strength and proactively issue new credit lines.Additional duties as assigned by manager.Requirements :
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES :
Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.Normal range of hearing and vision.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
Bachelor's degree with a concentration / emphasis in Finance or Accounting.Basic understanding of how to interpret the three main financial statements.High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.Valid Driver's License with good standing MVR.Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
Exposure to lease accounting and servicing applicationsExperience in a multi-state business, preferably within the transportation industryExposure to key commercial underwriting performance metrics.JOB DETAILS :
