Trans Lease Inc., a leading equipment financing and leasing organization, is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator for an on-site role. In this dynamic position, you'll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and administrator for a variety of software applications, working closely with vendors and the Director of Technology to ensure our systems remain efficient and forward-thinking. Partnering with the Systems Manager, you’ll provide day-to-day IT support in our Microsoft Windows and Google Suite environment, manage system operations, perform server maintenance, and conduct QA testing. We’re looking for someone with a curious and proactive attitude—ready not only to assist in maintaining our current systems but also to explore and implement future enhancements. This is an On-Site role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
IT Infrastructure Management & Maintenance
Monitor and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, applications, and user hardware.Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security for servers and applications.Assist in implementing and maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.User & Security Management
Manage application user accounts, permissions, and security protocols.Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with users and leadership.Troubleshooting & Support
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.Collaborate with software vendors to resolve technical issues and manage updates or upgrades.Refine and automate regular processes and track bugs and issues.Documentation & Reporting
Create and maintain detailed documentation of system changes, configurations, and processes.Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business needs.Develop process documentation and training materials for end-users using tools and platforms utilized by the organization.Testing, Quality Assurance & Knowledge Sharing
Coordinate and supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of newly implemented solutions.Perform and document detailed QA testing of newly implemented solutions.Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.Software Expertise & Implementation
Learn and train on LeaseComplete to become a subject matter expert (SME) and support the Systems Manager with admin tasks, including developing and deploying automated customer communications.Support an upcoming portfolio management / leasing software transition by contributing to discovery and implementation processes.Requirements :
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES :
Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
2-5 years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role.Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory user permissions and file / folder permissions and managementFlexible, team player, "get-it-done" personalityAbility to organize and plan work independentlyAbility to work in a rapidly changing environmentProven ability to adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.Strong skills in documentation, time management, organization, and accountability.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience with specific software applications used within the company (Dynamics Great Plains accounting software, Dominion LeaseComplete lease accounting software, DocStar document imaging and routing software, Docusign eSignature software, Wolters Kluwer eOriginal e-document vaulting software).Familiarity with Agile project management principles.Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or Asana.Basic markup language knowledge (e.g., JSON, XML) for configuration and integration.Experience with MS SQL Server, relational database design and Transact SQL.Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud.Understanding of or experience with Crystal Reports.WHY JOIN US?
