Transwest has an opening for a highly motivated Truck Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly successful Sales Manager looking to make an immediate impact. The Truck Sales Manager will be responsible for working on the sales floor in addition to leading the sales team, including training and traveling throughout the region for customer visits. Candidate(s) must have a proven track record of success, expert deal closing abilities, good reputation, inventory management experience, and exceptional training and leadership skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Order and effectively manage truck inventory.
Facilitate marketing and sales of new and pre-owned trucks.
Assume responsibility for customer retention and profitability in the Truck Sales Department.
Effective time management, knowledge of market potential, and performance standards.
Hire, train and manage a team of 3-5 salespeople.
Understand dealership policies, procedures, and sales systems.
Set standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining inventory.
Ensure we remain competitive in the market.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES :
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Climbing in and out of vehicles.
Occasional stooping and bending.
Ability to lift / push / pull up to 45 lbs.
Normal range of hearing and vision.
Requirements :
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with good standing MVR.
Successful track record of developing relationships and closing sales.
Direct industry experience selling trucks is a plus.
Sales management experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
JOB DETAILS :
Type : Salary Bonus
Base Salary Compensation Range : $100,000 - $120,000
Bonus Eligibility : Yes with total earning potential exceeding $200,000
Reports To : General Manager
Closing Date : Open until filled.
Salary : $200,000
