What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Assistant position at All Out Community Care Services?
Position Summary:
The program assistant acts as the support staff for all agency programs. This position is responsible to complete what is requested of it in addition to its own administrative responsibilities such as; administrative functions related to client records, filing and pre-auditing records, creating, updating, and submitting various spreadsheets and documents as required by each program's team lead, the Program Director, and/or the Executive Director. This position will also be responsible for answering and triaging a multi-line phone system and other administrative functions to assist the agency teams/staff, agency management team, and persons served as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have at least a high school diploma/GED with at least 1 year of clerical experience and have at least 1 year experience working in a medical and/or mental/behavioral health field. This position requires excellent time management and interpersonal skills, high efficiency when multitasking, attention to details, strong critical thinking/problem solving skills, and polite, clear, and compelling communication skills. Experience working directly with adults diagnosed with severe mental illness/co-occurring and knowledge and understanding of recovery principles is highly preferred. Experience/education as a medical assistant and/or billing and coding is highly desired.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
