Payroll / Human Resource Associate Job Duties:
- Processes company’s Semi-Monthly payroll.
- Maintains payroll records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data into Paycom.
- Reconcile payroll; prior to transmission and validate
- Answers staff questions regarding wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
- Process employee changes
- Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant laws.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.
- Create, review, and track various spreadsheets
- Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
- Perform the distribution of wages through Fintwist pay cards, manual checks or bank accounts.
- Work with Field support on corrections.
- Meet payroll deadlines.
- Partner with managers to help support overall employee and HR needs
- In partnership with HR Manager will help bring to resolution various employee relation issues
- Receive and coordinate requests for Leaves of Absence
- Perform other duties as assigned
HR/Payroll Qualifications:
- 2 years of Human Resource and Payroll experience with group size of 200 or more employees
- Experience working with Payroll Systems
- Detail Oriented
- Organization Skills
- Computer and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Good Verbal Communication with all level Employees
- Ability to handle Sensitive and Confidential information
- Problem Solver
- Multi-Tasking Abilities
- Analytical Skills
- The idea candidate must have strong knowledge of Federal and State Laws, in multiple states. Experience with on-boarding, terminations, benefits, wage deductions, and maintaining employee files. Must have excellent customer service skills.
Requirements/Experience:
• Payroll processing: 2 years.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
• Positive attitude.
Education:
- High School diploma with relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
