Job Title: Construction Laborer (Entry-Level)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Construction Laborer. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to break into the construction industry. You'll gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general construction tasks including demolition, site prep, cleanup, material handling, and basic carpentry.
- Load and unload building materials and tools at job sites.
- Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow directions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Support framing, siding, drywall, roofing, painting, and other phases of construction as needed.
- Learn and apply basic construction techniques and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required — willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are most important.
- Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs), stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor.
- Familiarity with hand tools and small power tools.
Compensation and Growth:
