All Seasons Land Surveying LLC, located in Wallingford, CT & Millerton, NY, seeks to hire a full-time survey project manager to work under the direct supervision of our licensed land surveyor and assist with all aspects of surveying. We are a small surveying firm looking to expand our team due to increasing workloads. The candidate should have a background in the following: Boundary Surveys, Zoning Location Surveys, ALTA surveys, Records research, AutoCAD, Construction layout and staking; including reading and interpreting construction plans, and preparation of calculations for stake-outs. This position is perfect for a young surveyor in pursuit of licensure or an experienced crew chief looking for a new challenge who enjoys completing all aspects of surveying. The candidate will be responsible for taking jobs from start to finish with the review of our licensed land surveyor. All Seasons will provide assistance in obtaining licensure to qualified candidates. Currently All Seasons is licensed and actively working in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Must be able to work as a one-person crew utilizing robotic and GPS equipment
- Candidate should be a self starter willing to learn to operate survey equipment and AutoCAD software
- Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys
- Research legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries
- Complete boundary surveys, ALTA, and easement descriptions and exhibits
- Understand plot plan, stakeout, form board, foundation, horizontal and vertical control, elevation certifications and final surveys
- Verifies accuracy of field survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
- Perform other related land survey project tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
