Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our office operations, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and good interpersonal skills.
Duties
The Church Administrative Assistant works closely with the Vicar (minister of the church) to manage daily operations of the church including:
- Office management, organization, and record keeping
- Creating of and printing the weekly worship bulletin
- Creating and management of online, weekly eNewsletter
- Emailing and scheduling of volunteers
- Utilizing programs such as Word, Google Suite, Excel, and Constant Contact
Qualifications
- High School graduate or higher
- Familiarity with the Episcopal Church and/or liturgical worship format is not required but useful
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately; computer literacy is essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred
