- Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team as a General Anesthesia coverage physician in Southern West Virginia.
- Requirements: The ideal candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible and hold an active WV license and DEA.
- Schedule: This is a Monday-Friday position from 7am-3:30pm with 5x8 hour shifts plus beeper call.
- Setting: Our hospital features 179 beds, 10 points of service, and a 16 FTE program.
- Shift Times: The shift times include 5x8 hour shifts plus beeper call.
- Cases: The Anesthesiologist will cover various cases including GS, Endo, OB, Gyn, Pod, Uro, ENT, Ortho, and Ortho-totals. NO hearts, No Heads, No Peds, MD's do Epidurals - but will take CRNA's who want to do epidurals and OB, ok if CRNA's don't do spinal or regional blocks.
- Patient Care Model: The patient care model is 1:4 MD ratio with supervision but MDs perform epidurals.
- EMR: Epic EMR system is used.
