As a Front Office/Treatment Plan Coordinator, you will be the face of our clinic, combining robust administrative duties with exceptional patient interaction. Duties and Responsibilities
- Pre-audits charts and ensures correct patient information, frequency limitations, history, fee schedule, procedure codes, and patients’ financial obligations are determined accurately.
- Greets patients warmly and helps foster a welcoming and reassuring environment.
- Represents the practice effectively by establishing rapport and lasting relationships with patients and their families.
- Educates patients on proposed treatment plans, explaining health benefits, costs, timelines, payment options, and all other required and relevant information clearly and comprehensively.
- Creates, maintains, tracks, and updates required documentation and files, including treatment plans, insurance statements, and financial arrangements with precision.
- Takes part in the leadership team meetings, showcasing admirable leadership and adherence to our core values of teamwork, respect, and compassion.
- Handles all aspects of Insurance verification, confirming coverage and understanding detailed benefits to effectively communicate to patients.
- Assists in treatment planning using detailed knowledge of dental procedures and conventions for a wide variety of cases.
- Maintains an organized front office area and ensures all information is compliant with privacy regulations and patient confidentiality is upheld.
- Provides excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism, ensuring all interactions build trust and patient confidence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Front Office Coordinator or similar role within a dental office environment.
- Strong understanding of dental office procedures and protocol, with an emphasis on treatment plan coordination and insurance verification.
- In-depth knowledge of dental software and high proficiency in managing electronic health records and office management systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with heightened attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing sensitive or difficult situations tactfully and professionally.
