Position Overview
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the overall flow of the application process with new and returning applicants. This position includes hospitality, pre-screening of applicants, and full-time direct contact with the public. The Recruiting Coordinator is the first impression of All Star Labor & Staffing.
Duties
Assist applicants with application process, including all state and federal required forms
Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process from start to finish
Post job openings on various job boards and social media platforms
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
Conduct initial phone screens and schedule interviews
Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
Assist with background checks and reference checks
Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure data accuracy
Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate person and / or answer questions concerning job openings, application process, assignments and services
Ensure that new applicants have completed the online application and onboarding documents
Ensure that all legal forms are complete, collect direct deposit information and complete a checklist for each employee in the applicant tracking system
Assist / schedule the skills assessment process for new applicants
Support Recruiting Coordinator with special projects
Collect timecards and assist with preparation of timesheets for the payroll department
Skills
Excellent customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
Experience in managing social media platforms for recruitment purposes
Strong attention to detail
Requirements
Minimum one year of experience in customer service and administration
Bilingual – Spanish and English a plus
