Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Currently we are looking to add two full time positions to our team.
Responsibilities
- Follow and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Provide care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in caregiving, first aid, toddler care, classroom management, behavior management, and childcare.
- Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diversity among students.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
