Job Title: Channel Manager
Summary
The Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, optimizing channel performance, and implementing effective channel strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Develops and implements a comprehensive channel strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with existing and potential partners.
- Plans and implements customer presentations, oversees account profiles, conducts contract negotiations with customers.
- Responsible for advertising on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
- Creates plans for growing market share by tracking other channels and makes recommendations to expand to those channels deemed profitable.
- Directs and commercializes activities, making sure that propositions are “ready to sell” and executed on schedule and to budget.
- Tracks and analyzes key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of channel programs.
- Works collaboratively with partners to optimize their performance and address any challenges.
- Implements improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Acts as a liaison between internal teams and channel partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
- Coordinates joint marketing activities, promotions, and product launches with partners.
- Coordinates farm show exhibits and attendance.
- Attends trade shows, seminars, product launchings, and other events related to the industry to remain competitive.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Complies with the requirements of the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System (when required).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend and kneel on an occasional basis.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regular manual dexterity/coordination: hand/eye movements, motor control.
- Regular visual effort: concentrated reading of documentation or close viewing of computer displays.
- Able to push, pull and lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis.
Required Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, or similar degree or a two-year associate degree and work experience in a related field.
- At least 2 years of industry-related experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Proven experience in channel management, sales, or business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining successful channel partnerships.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other relevant tools.
- Agricultural products knowledge is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required.
