What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at All Team Staffing?
Banquet server positions. Hours are typically on-call to part-time depending on client needs and employee’s choice. Shifts can be any time, but often include Friday and Saturday evenings. Shifts are typically six to eight hours in duration. Work could be at one location or multiple locations in a given week. Duties to include banquet room setup, primarily glass / china / silver; greeting guests and communicating with them concerning dietary needs; serving hors d’oeuvres; passing drinks; serving plated meals to assigned tables; maintaining buffets; wine service; bussing; event cleanup; keeping banquet space neat, clean, and orderly during duration of shift. Duties could include some bartending or barback duties; cleaning and dishwashing; some light food prep and / or plating. All employees must be able to communicate respectfully with co-workers and guests, take direction from appointed supervisors, adhere to client break and meal period policies, and follow all All Team and client policies regarding safe, professional, respectful, and non-discriminatory workplaces Experience as a server in banquets, catering, full-service restaurants, or retirement greatly preferred. Current Oregon Food Handlers Card required. Current OLCC Liquor Service Permit required for many shifts Weekly pay. Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
