Field Technician

AYN Maintenance is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running work orders, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, as well as exterior maintenance. They must also maintain the appearance of the property and deliver a high level of customer service. The job involves being on-call for emergencies and responding to various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, hardware accessories, and painting

• Maintain customer service standards and respond to commercial requests

• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner

• Utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures

• Inspect and upkeep cleanliness of grounds, common areas, walls, windows, and doors

• Maintain sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas

• Empty trash receptacles and transport trash to disposal area

• Perform grounds maintenance by picking up debris and cleaning trash enclosures

• Clean restrooms, sweep and mop floors

• May perform other duties as assigned

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Assist with inventory control and management of spare parts.

• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

• Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Replace faulty parts on machines, equipment, and systems.

• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.

• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
