Job Summary
The Multifamily Account Manager will play a key role in executing Allbridge's growth and expansion strategy. This role will be responsible for driving the organizations continued fast-paced expansion into new and existing markets and closing new business through strategic and consultative selling to national and regional property owners and managers. The position requires a relentless hunter consistently employing thoughtful sales processes with a consistent track record of sales over-achievement. This is a client-facing role requiring deep industry expertise, proven ability, and a broad base of industry contacts. This role will report to the Vice President, Business Development Multifamily.
Successful employees have a bachelors degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 6 years of demonstrated relevant work experience in strategic sales in a business-to-business sales environment, in the multifamily housing industry selling smart technology (IoT) solutions. Required to build rapport and lasting relationships with large national firms, professionally managing accounts, setting and pitching sales meetings, negotiating contracts, and closing deals selling cutting edge, disruptive technology to top decision-makers at the enterprise level.
Allbridge is currently operating under a hybrid work model, allowing colleagues the opportunity to connect with others in person and the flexibility to work remotely. For some business groups and positions, job function requirements may require more time at the primary work location, while greater flexibility may be in place for others.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Lead the companys national sales efforts to close large multifamily contracts, acting as subject matter expert to drive revenue and achieve assigned sales quota and profitability expectations.
- Has some authority to perform contract negotiations, and including pricing, features, and installation timelines per company standards.
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, building rapport with key decision makers, and penetrating national sales markets.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
- Initiate internal partnerships with sales and technical team members to assist in closing complex and / or technical sales that require additional technical expertise.
- Train and coach territory sales teams on technical knowledge related setting expectations for them to ultimately sell without assistance.
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. May act as technical expert within the organization to contribute to the development of multifamily presentations and product strategy.
- Attend industry and business development events, inclusive of identifying and nurturing sales leads.
- Lead the customer account planning cycle to set expectations that client expectations are met.
