We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Property Non-Weather Water Claims Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee a team of NWW desk adjusters, ensuring efficient, timely and accurate claims handling and effective claims management while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Non-Weather Water property insurance claims processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Non-Weather Water property desk adjusters, providing guidance and support in claims handling, evaluating damages, review of policy coverage, and determining claim validity and resolution.
- Review and approve claim files estimates and documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Review and approve claim letters explaining settlement, claim status, and claim resolution.
- Review and approve billing invoices and payments
- Provide guidance on coverage decisions.
- Provide guidance on negotiating settlements and communicating findings to policyholders and internal teams.
- Provide guidance on collaboration with policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve claims.
- Monitor team performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier business leaders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Florida adjuster license
- Minimum 24 months proven experience as a property adjuster handling Non-weather Water claim losses with at least 12 months in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and claims processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written communication
- Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced property construction knowledge
- Experience with Supervising Citizens Property Insurance Corporation NWW claim handling adjusters.
- 3 year proven experience as a property adjuster handling Non-weather Water claim losses with at least 12 months in a supervisory role.
- College degree
- Demonstrated proficiency in Xactimate

- Job Type: Full-time
- This position offers a competitive compensation plan based on operational excellence and production.
- Annual compensation of $90,000 paid on a bi-weekly basis
- Eligible for a performance-based quarterly bonus of $4,500.00
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 paid after 60 days of service.
