What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning and Development Specialist position at Allcat Claims Service?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develops, comprehensive, engaging, and impactful learner experiences.
Ensures training materials are current, accurate, and developed with alignment to best practices in adult learning.
Regularly reviews training content and / or programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, and / or retention.
Effectively collaborates with L&D content facilitators and functional management.
Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques in content development and aligns materials to maximize learning effectiveness.
Maintains current knowledge of operational claims processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
6 months desk adjuster experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use claims management and estimating software(s).
Excellent interpersonal, written, customer-service, and general communication skills.
Current home state adjuster license.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build rapport with others and create a collaborative, team environment.
Strong coverage knowledge surrounding policies, exclusions, and endorsements.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Demonstrated experience in the development / delivery of training material(s).
Experience with LMS content development tools and system administration (strongly preferred).
Demonstrated experience or professional designation / training in project management.
Multi state claim licenses including NY and / or HI.
Bachelor's degree or pursuing and / or industry designations such as CPCU, AIC, SCLA, etc.
