What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Pediatric Physical Therapist position at AllCheer?
AllCheer, a leading provider of early intervention services in San Francisco is looking for a part-time or full-time Physical Therapist to join its multi-disciplinary team. Currently, we need services to be provided to children (18 months - 10 years) in the childcare facility/home setting. The PT can make their own schedule in collaboration with the family getting the services. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and experienced (over 5 years of PT experience) and will be paying a competitive hourly rate of $65-$80 (yearly equivalent of $135,200 to $166,400) for services provided.
As a Physical Therapist at AllCheer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with a wide range of developmental and physical needs.
If you are not looking for a full-time position, we also have an option for a part-time position. The part-time position is a great opportunity for a PT who is looking to make additional income by doing 12 to 15 hours of clinical work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat children (18 months- 10 years) with developmental delays, physical impairments, and other conditions that affect their ability to perform daily activities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving fine and gross motor skills, and overall functional abilities
- Collaborate with other specialists at AllCheer (SLPs, OTs, BCBAs, Psychs) to provide holistic care to children and their families
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers to promote child development and independence
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 5 years of direct PT experience of which a minimum of 3 years of experience should be in pediatric physical therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- A passion for working with children and a dedication to improving their lives
