What are the responsibilities and job description for the Friendship Residence Supervisor position at Alleghany Highlands Community Services?
Alleghany Highlands Community Services provides services and support to individuals in our community with behavioral health challenges and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provides supervision and 24- hour support to employees providing care in an eight bed group home. Oversees the daily operations of the facility and care provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field or License Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia (required)
- Considerable experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities (required)
- One year experience writing treatment plans (required)
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (required)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides supervision and 24-hour support to employees regarding appropriate procedures, techniques and practices utilized in the group home.
- Provides appropriate training for staff development through mentoring, coaching and skill building.
- Assigns and reviews employee work, evaluates performances, and schedules staff coverage and prepares and leads staff meetings.
- Provides direct care and support to individuals in the group home based on their needs and person centered planning.
