Monitoring and Evaluation Intern
Overview
The Criminal Justice Analytics Team is seeking an intern to assist with the monitoring and evaluation of DHS programs for individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
Responsibilities
- Develop tools to assess programs against key performance indicators during implementation.
- Create evaluation plans to measure program impact post-implementation.
- Collaborate with DHS and providers on best practices for monitoring and evaluation.
- Contribute to developing metrics for program fidelity and outcomes.
Skills Required
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) and basic SQL knowledge.
- Preferred background in program evaluation, causal design, and statistical analysis.
- Additional experience in project and stakeholder management is a plus.

- Edit contributions into a cohesive document.
- Ensure compliance with funding organization requirements.
Skills Required
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word; grant writing experience is a plus.
