Allegheny Partners is a boutique management firm in Roanoke, Virginia. We are partners in comprehensive property management and leasing. We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. This position is an entry level position with training provided for the right candidate.
Assistant Property Manager Job Responsibilities
- Manage occupancy and leasing for all apartment buildings designated to you, including but not limited to, maintaining a 95% occupancy rate, scheduling and conducting tours, rent collection, lease population, ensure accuracy of lease data and recurring charges in database, application review and qualification, lease renewals and notices, scheduling and conducting move in and move out appointments/inspections
- Timely respond to all inquiries delegated to you, prospective tenant and current tenant inquiry, maintain communication throughout leasing process
- Serve as the main POC for tenants within assigned buildings. Establish, manage, and maintain tenant relationships. Assist in community development, tenant event planning and execution
- Host short term rentals on rotating shifts on Airbnb platform, maintaining excellent customer service and super host rating, includes on call rotation for guest response
- Manage unit marketing material, assist in social media maintenance and posting
- Manage collection process for assigned delinquencies including court appointments as necessary
- Assist with compliance reporting as necessary
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
Skills
- At least 2 years customer service, inside and/or outside sales experience
- Familiarity with standard business practices; leasing or real estate experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Data entry proficiency and computer/application navigation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and customer oriented (internal and external)
- Time management skills. Ability to prioritize, organize, and remain flexible
- High degree of personal integrity
- Ability to work independently and within a team
