Allegiance Staffing in Greer, SC is looking for experienced Slitter Operators for a growing company in Gray Court, SC. Ideal candidate would need 3 years of slitter operator . These are temp to hire 12-hour rotating day shift 7am-7pm or 7p-7a in a climate-controlled space.
Pay : 18.59 - $24 / hr
Shift :
7am-7pm rotating shift
7pm-7am rotating shift
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform set-up, start-up and shut-down of Slitter machine per Standard Operating
- Procedures (SOP)
- Operate the Slitter machine to get finished goods according to customer specifications under the supervision and direction of the Team Lead or Production Manager.
- Set up slitter according to process standards using touchscreen PLC’s
- Perform thread-up of Slitter
- Verify shift hoist inspection has been completed
- Operate winder / slitter hoist to load unit rolls and remove empty mandrels
- Manage handling and packaging of finished slit rolls
- Monitor slitter while in run mode
- Operate shaft extractor
- Manage work of Packaging operators
- Lead and perform shift clean-up for slitter
- Communicate with off going and on coming Slitter Operators to ensure proper handoff
- Focus on continuous improvement and problem solving
- Provide coverage during absence of other shift technicians
