Veterinary Assistant

Full-Time (Temp to Hire)

Shifts : Monday to Sunday

1st Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM

Alternate Shift : 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM

Flexible schedule – Open for weekends

Pay Rate : $15 / hour!

Payment Schedule : Paid every Friday!

Referral Bonus Program Available

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the shelter veterinarians in animal care
  • Restrain animals during exams and procedures
  • Help move animals in and out of cages
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining exam spaces
  • Ensure animals' well-being during treatments and exams

Requirements :

  • Passion for working with animals
  • Experience in animal care (previous veterinary assistant experience is preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability to restrain animals and handle tasks requiring physical effort
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend shifts for special events
