We are currently hiring a Production Control Clerk join our customer's team out of Nellis Air Force Base.
Location: Applicant must be local to the Las Vegas area and willing to work with our teams at Nellis AFB. This role will be 100% onsite.
Compensation: This work falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA), and this will be hourly in accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. Per SCA, health and welfare payment is only for straight time hours worked (up to 40 hours per week) and not paid out for overtime and doubletime hours. The Service Contract Act wage determination is $21.51 per hour.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls and emails and respond to inquiries.
- Dispatch new work to telecommunications technicians.
- Assist project managers, technicians and customer tasks with tracking deadlines and deliverables.Open, enter, submit, update and close out work orders for customers.
- Record and save all key documents to the share drive and job folders.
- Receive and handle all purchase orders in ERP system.
- Review weekly timesheets for accuracy and submit for processing.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven and related experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows 11 and the MS Office Suite of Tools, especially with MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Successful candidates will be subject to maintain a valid driver's license.
- Successful candidates will be subject to complete and maintain a favorable Tier 3 (NACLC & ANACI) Government Secret Security Clearance and to include a favorable Tier 1 (formerly known as a National Agency Check Inquiries (NACI) background check and associative suitability. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to maintain and Active Secret Clearance.
- Successful candidates will be subject to complete and maintain a successful completion of drug screen and MVR.
- Must have the ability to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to write, speak and communicate fluent English.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as Jonas, Sage, Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Knowledge of Remedy ticketing system.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement) certification.
- Experience with certified payroll for government work.
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
