Security Officer (Full-time)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will monitor premises, enforce rules and regulations, and respond to incidents as they arise. Your role is crucial in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Manage conflict situations effectively, utilizing conflict management skills.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities or behaviors.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.

Requirements
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is an advantage.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties and respond quickly to incidents.
- A valid security certificate or training in loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Military experience may be beneficial but not required.

Pay: $14.50 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• English and Spanish (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Level 3 Security license (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• San Angelo, TX (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• San Angelo, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
