SUMMARY: This position is responsible for building market position by locating, developing and defining, negotiating and closing business relationships. We are looking for a talented, charismatic account specialist who can help us grow by bringing in new business and servicing accounts. A motivated self-starter who thrives on making new connections and building relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Responsibilities include, but not limited to)
- Co-develop and implement strategic marketing plans for assigned areas to complement the company's strategic business plan and maintain the company's position as a top tier service provider.
- Manage business development process; maintain a strong knowledge of market including business trends, competitive landscape, and identify specific opportunities to direct marketing efforts toward particular areas.
- Operate as contact for new clients and project onboarding.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Implement strategy by direct efforts in the market and by overseeing and coordinating the activities of other marketing staff.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all key supervisors and managers within the company.
- Assist with the development of implementation of marketing and customer service training programs for field and communications staff, as well as other internal personnel.
- Create, update and edit company business development materials.
- Assist with planning, organization and execution of promotional activities.
- Assist with the development of proposals and RFP responses.
- Maintain and build customer relationship with routine follow-up activities.
- Provide customers with data and source information to meet their company objectives.
- Develop and maintain a trusted advisory relationship with customers.
- Identify professional and trade associations with which to affiliate.
- Scheduling networking meetings on a regular basis to meet or exceed established departmental goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of client development and marketing principles in service industry.
- Demonstrated skills in clear communication and presentation.
- Proven research, analysis, negotiating and decision-making skills.
- High degree of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and is insurable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work around standard office conditions, repetitive use of a keyboard and use of manual dexterity.
- Drive and travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years in marketing or business development-related position required.
- Health care experience as a practitioner/provider in operations or marketing a plus.
- Experience in EMS, certification or licensure as an EMT, paramedic or nurse preferred.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable with our carrier.
