Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funding for operations.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support the company's financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Manage invoicing and collections, ensuring timely payments from clients and vendors.
- Collaborate with external accountants for tax preparation and audits.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
