Accountant/Bookkeeper

General Purpose:

Con-Tech Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential Duties:

Duties may include:

• Accounts Receivable: Apply customer payments, address customer questions, maintain customer accounts at current level, send collection notices to customers with past due balances.
• Accounts Payable: Enter vendor invoices as received/approved, address vendor inquiries, review vendor statements, keep vendor accounts current.
• Remain flexible and perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Accounting or a similar business-related degree preferred but not required.
• 1 years’ accounting/bookkeeping experience (accounts payable/receivable preferred).
• Experience with QuickBooks, Gmail, Excel, Word, and other similar Microsoft programs.
• Must be self-motivated, as well as possess strong time-management skills; must be able to work efficiently and productively with limited daily direction.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Able to handle confidential information.

Hours: Monday through Friday, prefer full-time but will consider part-time for the right candidate.
