What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Analyst position at Allegiant Travel?
Summary
The Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Analyst reports to the Manager of Flight Safety and is responsible for the day-to-day flight data analysis utilizing the FOQA GDRAS, generating Ground Data Replay, and Analysis System (GDRAS) related reports, coordinating event investigations, conducting data analysis for FOQA studies, and assisting the FOQA Monitoring Team in reviewing and analyzing data. Additionally, the FOQA Analyst is responsible for developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and / or Tableau, process automation, and process optimization to enhance insights and support decision-making processes.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education : Bachelor's Degree

Bachelor's degree in related field.
Years of Experience :
- Minimum four (4) years of part 121 airline pilot experience OR
- Minimum two (2) years of aviation safety experience or data analysis and / or coding experience.
- Demonstrated capabilities in data analysis and the sound application of statistical principles.
- Demonstrated capabilities in written and oral communication, including the effective presentation of data.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of [AC 120-82] and [14 CFR 5].
- Effective communicator and presenter, with the ability to diplomatically interact with personal across the organization, vendors, and industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and impartiality in directing the program, which is a key ingredient in ensuring safety objectives are not compromised within Allegiant's SMS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
