Summary
The Culture & Engagement Specialist I will plan, design and develop programs, activities, communication, and events for Allegiant Team Members. This role will lead annual, reoccurring events, one time activities, ongoing programs, and be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all of these to deliver a high-value experience for all Team Members. This role will continually evaluate the local markets where we operate for additional opportunities to add offerings to employees and continually evaluate existing programs for enhancement or modification based on employee interest and evolution. This role will provide innovative solutions to support multiple business areas, including but not limited to, goals and objectives, core values, diversity and inclusion, brand awareness, corporate giving, and customer commitment.
This role will be based in Las Vegas, NV only, and will have the ability to work an onsite, or hybrid of onsite and work from home with some onsite days required. Travel will be required to support the intern and military program events as needed.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Event Planning, Hospitality, Communication, Marketing or related field required.
Years Of Experience
Minimum two (2) years of experience in related field.

- Experience working in Human Resources, Event Planning, Marketing, or Communications.
- KNOWLEDGE:
- Computer literate and must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Must possess strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in all forms of communication to include Social Media tools (podcasts, video podcasts, webcasts, blogs, forums, etc).
- Strategic thinker and problem solver.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to work.
- Strong proof reading and brand/message management skills.

- Communication and media design experience (video, photo, graphic design).
- Strong knowledge of “People Programs” (employee recognition programs, corporate culture initiatives, etc.).
- Manages and communicates existing employee programs including birthdays and anniversaries, recognition program, sports team sponsorships, charitable giving, company milestones, virtual programs, employee discounts, G4 store, Leadership councils, Interest Groups, Network Groups, etc.
- Designs and implements new employee programs and communication strategies based on added value, which may include Suggestion/Idea program, traditions and competitions, Intranet, Employee Rewards and Recognition etc.
- Supports internal marketing of Culture and Engagement areas including design, launch, results gathering, analysis, sharing plan for results, communication strategy, etc.
- Ensures accessibility for programs and events for all Team Members – geographically, remote work, etc.
- Acts as in-house expert on event/program planning for other departments to use as resource when planning their own teambuilding events and activities.
- Coordinates with Base managers or other leadership to educate and support their efforts toward local employee programs.
- Chairs the employee committees to provide resources and support for committee initiatives and ensures ongoing participation.
- Solicits employee feedback on events, programs and activities, and uses feedback to continually evolve programs to more closely meet employee values.
- Works closely with brand to ensure materials are produced and aligned to brand standards.
- Manages metrics for all programs and events to capture data points on participation for events and programs.
- Models Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
- Other duties as assigned.
